Dec 13: Seminar at Konkoly Observatory given by Á. Kóspál on "Parsamian 21: Polarimetric observations of an edge-on FUor disc".
Dec 6-20: A. Moór and L. V. Tóth visited Nagoya University to learn and work on AKARI data reduction.
Dec 2-6: P. Ábrahám visited MPIA (Heidelberg) for preparation of joint publications based on MIDI observations.
Nov 16: Submission of two General Observing proposals for Cycle 5 of the Spitzer Space Telescope.
Nov 12: T. Csengeri started a 3-year PhD fellowship at CEA Saclay uder the supervision of Dr. S. Bontemps.
Nov 5-Dec 20: N. Sipos was awarded with a Fizeau Fellowship and travelled to MPIA (Heidelberg) to work on radiative stransfer modelling of MIDI observations on young stellar objects together with Dr. S. Wolf and Dr. A. Schegerer.
Oct 25: Submission of an Open Time Key Programme for the Herschel Space Observatory.
Oct 19-Oct 31: Observations of a sample of young eruptive stars and a set of highly variable young stars using the TCS and IAC-80 telescopes at the Teide Observatory (P. Ábrahám, Á. Kóspál).
Oct 4-6: Y. Fukui (Nagoya University, Japan) visited the KISAG group to discuss about the AKARI project.
Sep 28: We were involved in the submission of three ESO proposals for VLTI/AMBER, VLTI/MIDI and VLT/NACO.
Sep 25-27: T. Prusti (ESTEC) visited our group to discuss about a possible Open Time Key Programme for the Herschel Space Observatory.
Sep 22: Public talk at the Hungarian Association of Amateur Astronomers on "young variable stars" (Sz. Csizmadia). Link to video.
Aug 22-24: Sz. Csizmadia, E. Forgacs-Dajka and L. Mosoni had talks on the General Meeting of the Eötvös Loránd Physical Society (Fizikus Vándorgyűlés, Eger).
Jul 19-20: Cs. Kiss attended the PACS Instrument Control Centre Meeting #28 (MPE, Garching).
June: Successful final exam of Timea Csengeri, who prepared her MSc thesis at KISAG.
May 31-Jun 10: Observations of a sample of young eruptive stars and a set of highly variable young stars using the TCS and IAC-80 telescopes at the Teide Observatory (Sz. Csizmadia, A. Moór).
May 28-Jun 8: N. Sipos participated in the summer school "Circumstellar disks and planets at very high angular resolution" in Porto, Portugal.
May 8: Public talk at the Hungarian Association of Amateur Astronomers on "Infrared Astronomy" (Á. Kóspál). Link to video
May 2: Our Spitzer proposal entitled "THE ORIGIN OF WARM DEBRIS DISKS AROUND SOLAR ANALOGUES", has been accepted.
Apr 19: M. Ueno (University of Tokyo, Japan) visited the KISAG group to discuss about the AKARI project.
Mar 30: We were involved in the submission of two ESO proposals for VLTI/AMBER and VLTI/MIDI.
Mar 21-25: Cs. Kiss and Sz. Csizmadia participated at the Herschel/PACS FM test measurements (MPE, Garching).
Mar 4: Á. Kóspál returned from Pasadena after finishing her 6-month Spitzer Fellowship.
Feb 26-28: Cs. Kiss and Sz. Csizmadia participated at the Herschel/PACS FM test measurements (MPE, Garching).
Feb 20-21: Cs. Kiss and A. Moór attended the Herschel Open Time Key Program workshop (ESTEC, Noordwijk).
Feb 16: We were involved in the submission of three GO and one Archival proposal for Cycle 4 of the Spitzer Space Telescope.
Jan 18-26: P. Ábrahám and T. Csengeri observed a sample of young eruptive stars and a set of highly variable young stars simultaneously with the TCS and IAC-80 telescopes at the Teide Observatory.
Jan 5-10: Á. Kóspál participated at the 209th Meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Seattle, WA. She gave a talk on the "Long-term Infrared Variability of Young Eruptive Stars" and presented a poster on "A Spitzer Search for Debris Disks Around Stars with Planets".
